Invitation

Dear Weed Scientists/Friends,

On behalf of the organizing committee of the 21st Asian Pacific Weed Science Society (APWSS) Conference, I hereby invite you to attend this bi-annual conference to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 2nd-6th October 2007.

The conference will be hosted by the Plant Protection Association of Sri Lanka (PPSL) in collaboration with the National Plant Protection Committee of the Council for Agricultural Research Policy (CARP) of the Government of Sri Lanka, and University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. The conference will be held with a view to discuss advances in technologies in relation to weed science research, and assess their potentials for implementation under different situations. The program for this conference consists of plenary, oral and poster sessions and trade exhibits, including scientific and educational exhibits.

Looking forward to seeing you in Sri Lanka, in 2007.
